Hi People! Here is the History of our Picards:
First, we saw the movie, Because Of Winn-Dixie &
Mom thought that the dog was a mutt but I
researched & found out that the dog was a Picardy
Shepherd. So naturally, we wanted one of these
special dogs.
Next, Mom wanted a real Picardy Shepherd that
was a puppy. So, in 2005 Mom went to Kansas to
get Lulu. We loved Lulu so much that we wanted
another Picard by 2006. This time, we wanted a
male so that eventually, we could breed them. We
named the male Bijoux and he came from Ellen
Adam's in eastern France. This time, I came along.
That was quite an adventure.
Once we got home, Lulu ignored us for the first two
hours! It was like we had brought her the best
present back from France! The picture on the right
is one when Bijoux was a small one. Now he is a
big boy! And, the dogs are both UKC Champions,
Bijoux just needs to get Best Of Breed one more
time to be a grand champion!
